I know that I use it to backup some files from my phone to my 5N and it works quite well. Worst case scenario it does not cover your needs and you can try something else. In my experience, the last thing you want is a backup system too complex for you to handle. It is certainly more powerful and customizable than btsync, but the cost is complexity. I’m not sure how to go about using rsync on the Mac to ‘pull’ the data across.
